About the Role
As a Contracts Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the management of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and approving agreements with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with the Delta Airlines Legal Department and other teams to ensure that contracts are aligned with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain standard contract templates through collaboration with the Delta Airlines Legal Department
- Support time-sensitive negotiations for contracts and ensure timely contract execution to meet business objectives
- Develop agreements with external customers, including airlines, leasing companies, and vendors
- Ensure approval and proper execution of all contractual documents
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and implement changes
- Develop and maintain electronic databases, including contract management, closing checklists, and other regulatory functionality within Salesforce or Delta Airlines-approved systems
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a relevant field or significant equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of contracts-related experience, preferably in the aviation industry
- Demonstrated history of working collaboratively and building relationships across diverse and highly influential teams
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with Delta Airlines and Delta TechOps partners
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented approach to collaboration
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as Salesforce
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to aviation transactions
