About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers. This is a full-time position with a 5-day workweek, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 3:00am.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
- Unloading and delivering products to our local customers, with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Secure operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:
Essential Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A Driver
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a delivery or transportation industry
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate company software

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Component driver pay: $25.00 per hour during training and then component pay between $90,000 - $100,000 annually once training is completed or assigned to a route
