Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a BCBA at Soar Autism Center, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering individualized, naturalistic ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in a center-based setting. You will collaborate with our clinical teams, including speech, occupational therapy, and psychology, to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver individualized, naturalistic ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in a center-based setting, focusing on early intervention and play-based approaches.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that integrate the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
- Implement ABA therapy plans based on the ESDM, with the support of our clinical leaders who will guide you through the approach, even if you are new to it.
- Oversee a team of approximately 7-8 clients, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
- Conduct standardized assessments and refine treatment plans based on progress, continuously adapting your approach to meet the evolving needs of each child.
- Build strong partnerships with families, guiding them through the therapy process, supporting their engagement, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the well-being of each child.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field of ABA therapy.
- Experience in ABA early intervention, with a focus on working with children aged 2-6.
- Preferred candidates have a background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, showcasing their understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing, enabling you to effectively collaborate with teams, families, and other stakeholders.
