Executive Director, Fulfillment Operations- Americas

About the position The Executive Director, Fulfillment Operations – Americas will be the Regional Supply Chain Leader for the Americas Region. This role will be responsible for all distribution, warehousing, Sales Operations & Channel partner relations within the region. The incumbent will sit on the Global Operations & Logistics Leadership Team. The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Logistics. Responsibilities • Responsible for all channels in SDJ’s largest region (wholesale, D2C, Travel Retail & Amazon) • Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all logistics and warehouse-related activities regionally in partnership with functional and country based direct reports • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and channel partners • Manage customer-facing activities including order management, Sales Operations, channel partner, Amazon, wholesaler and distributor relations • Set overall regional 3PL strategy aligned to the Global Strategy • Develop and implement specific short- and long-term plans and programs to support the operational goals and the brands annual growth & budget plans • Collaborate with internal and external partners including the L’Occitane Group to define our processes to support the business growth • Support opening of new retailers in various countries by leading operational setup • Create and implement a customer focused logistics operation that promotes a positive customer experience and delivers business efficiencies in line with profit, revenue and cost savings goals • Develop, present and execute short term and long-term strategy to optimize warehousing and logistics operations through an understanding of best practices • Create and lead monthly Regional operations performance review and approval meetings that set monthly, quarterly and annual KPI objectives and performance standards • Collaborate with audit and finance to ensure all logistics and operational processes are created and implemented with respect to compliance. Including: • 3PL Invoice Audit • Inventory Controls & Cycle Counting • Separation of Duties • Develop and update the regional roadmap, consistent with the global roadmap, for warehousing and fulfillment strategy to ensure organizational alignment and empowerment to execute the strategy • Develop and implement anticipatory strategies over warehousing and distribution by utilizing and building upon internal capabilities, as well as establishing and managing strategic relationships with 3PL partners • Maintain a current knowledge of best practices, while constantly seeking out new work processes, systems, and measurement and analysis tools that could be applied to the • Create and manage Regional budget with respects to responsibility • Develop and implement continuous improvement plans Requirements • Undergraduate degree required and graduate degree preferred with focus in Supply Chain, Engineering, Enterprise Planning, or related field. • 10-15 years of experience in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Operations or related fields preferred. • Demonstrated leadership with proven organizational development and planning expertise necessary to lead teams through continual changes while demonstrating high levels of engagement. • Experience in influencing multiple teams and groups across various geographies. • Experience working in a multi-national and -cultural environment preferred. • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies and warehousing in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimization. • Hands on work experience with and knowledge of logistics management, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory, planning, supply chain, order management and MRP tools / system. • Experience in leadership roles with responsibility for multiple operational functions, systems, and analytics platforms • Demonstrated ability to build relationships that help achieve results and influence employees/managers at every level of the organization. • Leading and managing multiple projects • Strong business process analysis capability • Strong knowledge of IT systems & tools and their implications for business processes (Oracle and SAP preferred) • High influencing and persuasion to drive collaboration across multiple stakeholders • Change management and transformational leadership Benefits • Competitive salary and bonus program for full-time team members • Flexible hybrid work environment with opportunities for collaboration and growth • Inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and celebrates individuality • The chance to be part of a fast-growing, award-winning global beauty brand
