Responsibilities
- Preparing right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage solutions, floodplain management strategies, and intersection improvements
- Collaborating with environmental scientists, utility locators, and surveyors to meet stringent requirements and address maintenance and improvement needs
- Using CADD to create various engineering drawings, layouts, and models that effectively communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Actively participating in project meetings, contributing expertise and insights to ensure successful project outcomes
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably MicroStation/OpenRoads/Geopak)
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field
- Previous experience design or transportation-related coursework
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain within 6 months
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
