E-commerce Merchandiser

Company Overview We are a global ecommerce company specializing in supplements and beauty products since 2001. We operate multiple international direct to consumer websites, sell in numerous currencies and languages, and manage a large catalog of wellness, beauty, and advanced hair care products. Our business includes both ecommerce and international wholesale channels, supported by in house brands, proprietary formulations, and long term supplier partnerships. We are seeking a Merchandiser who will play a central role in driving global growth, improving onsite performance, and identifying emerging product and market opportunities. Position Summary We are hiring a Merchandiser with proven experience in ecommerce, online direct to consumer operations, and product categories such as vitamins, supplements, beauty, personal care, and advanced hair care. This role combines digital merchandising, international trend research, sales analysis, sourcing collaboration, wholesale support, and continuous site optimization. The merchandiser will elevate the presentation and performance of hundreds of SKUs across multiple global markets. This is a highly analytical and research oriented position suited for someone who understands regulated consumer health categories, complex multi market ecommerce operations, and the rapid evolution of global beauty and wellness trends. Key Responsibilities: Digital Merchandising and Onsite Optimization • Own full product presentation including titles, feature bullets, ingredient disclosures, usage instructions, compliance friendly claims, and imagery • Manage category structure, navigation, filters, sort rules, badges, landing pages, and merchandising modules • Build and optimize bundles, regimens, multipacks, and upsell combinations to drive higher average order value • Perform A B testing and analyze heatmaps, scroll behavior, click patterns, and conversion metrics across devices • Execute new product launches, support packaging updates, and manage seasonal merchandising changes Market Research, Global Trend Tracking, and Competitive Intelligence • Research global trends in supplements, vitamins, beauty, and hair care across many countries • Identify differences in consumer preferences, hero ingredients, product formats, claims, and packaging styles by region • Track new launches, clinical actives, formulation innovation, pricing trends, and brand messaging from competitors • Prepare detailed trend reports for product development, sourcing, purchasing, marketing, and wholesale teams • Maintain a competitive intelligence database with screenshots, assortments, claims, packaging references, and pricing history Coordination with Sourcing and Purchasing • Translate emerging market trends into actionable concepts for the sourcing and purchasing teams • Provide insights for ingredient sourcing, packaging decisions, vendor selection, and international assortment planning • Identify new suppliers or product opportunities based on global market research • Assist with feasibility assessments, cost analysis, and timeline planning for new ideas Data Research and Sales Analysis • Analyze sales performance by SKU, product type, market, channel, and promotional activity • Identify issues impacting conversion rate, add to cart rate, engagement, or international differences • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommended actions • Measure promotional effectiveness, bundle performance, subscription adoption, and seasonal shifts • Provide inputs for forecasting and demand planning based on merchandising trends International Wholesale Merchandising • Collaborate with the wholesale division to identify global merchandising and assortment opportunities • Develop wholesale focused product decks, assortments, seasonal recommendations, and category insights • Share DTC learnings to support distributor success and consistency in global brand positioning • Analyze wholesale SKU performance and recommend assortment adjustments • Provide competitive and category intelligence to support distributor and retail partner discussions Trade Shows and Industry Events • Attend trade shows in supplements, beauty, wellness, hair care, and ingredient science • Track supplier innovations, packaging trends, ingredient breakthroughs, and competitor activity • Prepare post show reports and actionable recommendations for sourcing, merchandising, and product development • Participate in supplier meetings and support cross functional follow up Content and Creative Coordination • Brief creative teams on needed photos, lifestyle assets, ingredient visuals, clinical graphics, and videos • Maintain consistency across content for all markets and languages • Oversee translation accuracy for international sites Customer Feedback Integration • Review customer feedback, reviews, returns, and customer service insights • Update PDP content, FAQs, imagery, or education materials based on recurring themes • Identify SKUs requiring additional education or repositioning Subscription Program Enhancements • Improve subscription messaging and benefit visibility • Identify suitable SKUs for subscription enablement • Review churn reasons and propose retention improvements QA, Usability, and Site Monitoring • Audit the site for missing assets, broken links, outdated content, or translation errors • Validate that merchandising displays correctly on all devices and markets Catalog Management and Operational Coordination • Maintain accurate SKU data including variants, translations, compliance content, search tags, and metadata • Manage low stock messaging, out of stock logic, preorder settings, and back in stock alerts • Collaborate with operations to align inventory availability with merchandising priorities Qualifications • Experience in vitamins, supplements, beauty, personal care, or advanced hair care • Three to five years of Merchandising or category management experience • Strong Analytical Skills with proficiency in GA4, Looker, Excel, Hotjar, and similar tools • Experience Researching global trends and competitor activity across multiple markets • Experience working with sourcing and purchasing teams on assortment and product planning • Experience in ecommerce and online direct to consumer required • Strong communication to effectively collaborate with internal teams • Strong writing skills and visual merchandising sensibility • Comfortable attending trade shows and meeting suppliers • Highly
