Protegrity is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Digital Ecosystem & Experience to lead the evolution of our customer facing digital platforms into intelligent, AI-integrated experiences. As the company expands its audience from large enterprise buyers to individual developers and technical evaluators, this leader will oversee the transformation of our website, portal, and documentation into interactive, self service assets powered by modern AI tools and workflows.
This is a cross functional leadership role that will integrate the latest trends in conversational interfaces, prompt-driven discovery, and AI-guided content experiences to deliver value to customers where and how they expect it. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to build a digital ecosystem that is not only informational but deeply intelligent and predictive.

Responsibilities:
Define and drive the integrated strategy for a modernized digital ecosystem encompassing Protegrity’s website, documentation center, customer portal, and developer interfaces.
Align digital strategy with the company’s AI-first roadmap, embedding generative AI into web experiences to enable natural language interaction and support.
Establish and maintain performance KPIs that reflect AI usage: prompt based interactions, chat engagement analytics, semantic search behavior, and self service effectiveness.
AI-Powered Experience Design:
Spearhead the implementation of conversational UI/UX where website visitors, customers, and developers navigate content, training, or documentation through intelligent chat based prompts and guided workflows.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed LLM driven capabilities within the customer portal and documentation center, supporting both technical and non technical user needs.
Ensure the digital experience is consistent, context aware, and evolves based on AI-generated insights and feedback loops.
Developer & Documentation Ecosystem:
Build a next generation documentation center that integrates natural language search, AI-assisted troubleshooting, code sample generation, and embedded tutorials.
Create and manage structured pathways for developers to discover use cases, download SDKs, and self-onboard leveraging AI-guided journeys tailored to skill level and role.
Customer & Developer Portal Execution:
Lead the creation and management of a secure, scalable customer portal that serves enterprise buyers and developer users alike, with access to product downloads, training, licenses, support, and documentation.
Integrate smart search, usage telemetry, and AI-based personalization to anticipate customer needs and streamline task completion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align digital execution with product release cycles, developer community enablement, and support automation.
Act as a thought partner to the CEO and Chief Technology Officer on how AI is transforming the customer experience and drive the roadmap to support this shift.
Champion the integration of AI-generated insights into digital strategy, incorporating chat analytics, semantic behavior tracking, and interaction sentiment data into optimization loops.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in digital experience leadership, including strategic ownership of B2B websites, portals, and developer platforms.
Proven track record integrating AI/ML or LLM powered tools into digital products, especially chat-based or prompt driven interfaces.
Deep understanding of the evolving role of conversational UX, intelligent search, and AI-personalization in modern user journeys.
Strong program management skills with the ability to orchestrate initiatives across marketing, product, engineering, and executive teams.
Familiarity with CMS platforms, API-based architecture, documentation systems (e.g., ReadMe, Docusaurus), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap, or AI analytics platforms), and AI SDKs or APIs.

Working Model:
This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in office 2-3 days a week. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
