Digital and Creative Director

General Information: Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) seeks a Digital and Creative Director to take primary responsibility for the campaign side communications; primarily driving and overseeing social media outlets and creative content. This position will play a central role in developing strategy and implementing social and creative content as well as staffing the Congresswoman in Seattle, Washington, DC and additional venues when appropriate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of digital communications and creative media communications experience in increasingly senior positions, ideally on issue and/or electoral campaigns. This position requires travel, some weekend and evening work and is flexible in terms of location. Job summary: An innovative and experienced Digital and Creative Director is needed to lead the creative vision and execution across all digital platforms for PFC and all related campaigns including Medicare for All, Resistance Lab trainings and the Congresswoman’s other year round programs with possible extension. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of how to leverage digital platforms, and a proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams. This person will be responsible for translating programmatic objectives into compelling and engaging creative strategies.
