Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk with our company, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our databases. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and capturing data from various sources, including employees and customers, and entering it into our databases in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performing data entry tasks using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and other software applications.
- Preparing information for data entry, including reviewing and verifying data prior to entry.
- Providing entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including performing routine clerical tasks.
- Identifying and correcting data entry errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
- Performing high-volume data entry work, including data entry of credits, new applications, and other tasks as required.
- Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and guidelines.
- Collaborating with dealers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Training new data entry employees on our computer system and data entry procedures.
- Performing daily audits and data entry corrections to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, computer science) is an asset.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in data entry or administration.
