About the position
Responsibilities
• Identify and resolve variances between CVS in-store and online sales and the settlement of various payment tenders.
• Reconcile General Ledger balances against bank activity.
• Analyze data and create journal entries.
• Research payment inquiries and verify the validity of customer disputes.
• Process remote check deposits.
Requirements
• 1+ years accounting/analytical/budgeting experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• High level organization, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis/troubleshooting.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Access and Excel.
• Point experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with upper level management and external/internal groups.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.
• Payment processing/settlement processing experience.
• Remote work and virtual collaboration experience.
