Contract Attorney/Asset & Corporate Finance

We are working on a 6+ month remote contract position for an AmLaw100 firm. This attorney would work with the firm's Asset & Corporate Finance practice group, which advises lenders, master servicers, and special servicers in financing transactions involving commercial mortgage-backed securities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with financing transactions. Specific experience with real estate law and real estate finance are preferred. Day-to-day work includes a range of CMBS loan servicing matters on performing and non-performing loans, such as loan modifications, assumptions, equity transfers, consent requests, demand letters and pre-default work. Initial engagement is estimated at 6 months but could be extended or converted to a full-time role.
