As a Compensation Associate, you will manage multiple survey projects and contribute to high-profile consulting engagements, influencing compensation strategies across leading financial institutions worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full compensation survey cycle — from launch to report delivery — ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely results
- Act as the primary client contact, leading job matching sessions, resolving data issues, and delivering clear insights that strengthen client relationships and drive participation
- Analyze large datasets, interpret compensation trends, and prepare impactful reports and presentations
- Support bespoke consulting projects such as benchmarking, incentive plan design, and regulatory updates, while contributing to broader initiatives like industry research, training, and business development
Skills
- 1–3 years of compensation survey experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Corporate exposure through internships, part-time roles, or related education
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings
- Strong analytical and project management abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Results-driven mindset focused on business success
- Proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Background in Human Resources or prior consulting experience
- Advanced Excel expertise (statistical analysis, graphs, lookups, formulas)
- Experience working with global financial services clients
- Familiarity with compensation program design and market practice reporting
