JOB SUMMARY:
The Community Manager is a key contributor to Tarbell Management Group’s (TMG) Ohserase Manufacturing (OM) Sales Team. The role extends beyond traditional sales focusing on strengthening relationships with retail partners, tribal communities, and consumers while driving engagement and brand loyalty.
You will uphold TMG/OM’s Mission and Core Values, execute strategic initiatives, and serve as a trusted liaison between our organization and the communities we serve. This position requires exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
This role requires the ability to nurture and build strong relationships with both tribal partners and the communities they support, resulting in high customer and community satisfaction ratings. This position will achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and distribution goals via unparalleled execution of promotional engagement and community events.
Primary Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to)
- Expand engagement with retail stores and tribal community partners to foster long-term relationships.
- Drive sales growth and increase product distribution within assigned territories.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and community initiatives.
- Execute TMG/OM strategies and promotional plans effectively and with professionalism.
- Organize, support and lead impactful in-store and community events to build brand awareness.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring respectful and meaningful engagement with tribal communities while living our values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with tribal leaders, community organizations, and retail partners.
- Represent TMG/OM at community events, meetings, and cultural initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create programs that support mutual growth and community well-being.
- Act as a resource for community feedback and ensure alignment with company values.
2. Retail Store Coverage
- Introduce and promote TMG/OM products to assigned and new retail/distributor accounts.
- Secure optimal product visibility and placement on primary fixtures.
- Maintain high-visibility point-of-sale (POS) materials.
- Ensure fair and competitive product pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and compliance.
- Report competitive activities consistently.
- Complete all administrative and reporting tasks promptly after each retail call.
3. Promotional Activities
- Plan and execute engaging in-store and community promotional events.
- Educate consumers about promotions and products, answer questions, and distribute promotional items.
- Build brand awareness through dynamic and culturally respectful promotions.
- Submit accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory and proper use of promotional materials.

Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in community engagement, sales, or relationship management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, professional, and culturally aware.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Computer proficiency with internet access and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within Native American territories or Tribal communities.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Daily travel to retail and community locations
- Combination of office and field work; regular travel to facilities, terminals, customer and partner sites.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb during events and store visits
- Occasionally lift or move up to 35 lbs. of promotional materials and product samples
- Exposure to outdoor weather, fuel odors, and moderate noise.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and store visits.
- Manual dexterity for setting up displays and organizing product placements
