HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
As a Talent Acquisition Co-op on the Students and Early Careers team, you will play a vital role in supporting three Lead Recruiters who are focused on attracting and hiring top early-career talent. This position offers hands-on experience in the recruitment process and exposure to strategic initiatives that shape Delta’s future workforce.
This co-op starts in Spring 2026 and will complete the following 2 alternating rotations onsite in Atlanta, GA.
• Spring 2026 – 1st rotation
• Fall 2026 – 2nd rotation
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting Lead Recruiters with sourcing and engaging candidates through various channels, including our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
• Supporting campus recruiting efforts, career fairs, and networking events to build strong talent pipelines.
• Coordinating and planning recruitment events and campus outreach initiatives.
• Helping manage candidate communication and interview scheduling to ensure a seamless experience.
• Contributing to special projects and high-volume hiring periods by providing administrative and operational support.
• Maintaining accurate data in recruiting systems and generating reports to track progress and outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
• Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a four-year accredited institution.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Available to work full-time for two alternating semesters: Spring 2026 and Fall 2026.
• This co-op requires full-time commitment during work terms; students cannot take courses (online or in-person) while participating, which may extend graduation by 1–2 semesters.
• Must be able to work onsite at Delta’s Atlanta, GA headquarters for the duration of the program.
• Participation in this co-op does not guarantee a full-time position upon graduation; the role is designed to provide valuable educational and professional experience to prepare students for future careers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships.
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
• Preferred majors in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous internship or co-op experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related areas.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools (e.g., Avature, LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Experience supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives or campus recruiting programs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for insights.
• Passion for creating an exceptional candidate experience and interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition.
