The CloudOps Engineer I supports the development and operations of the technology infrastructure, focusing on cloud environments and assisting with infrastructure management and systems administration.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and operations of the technology infrastructure, focusing on cloud environments
- Assist with infrastructure management, systems administration, and the operation of orchestration engines
- Ensure application uptime, contribute to cloud disaster recovery planning, and engage in related initiatives
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, systems administration, or a related role
- Fundamental understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Basic knowledge of automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and management tasks. Powershell preferred
- Experience with system troubleshooting and problem-solving across various application domains and platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support senior engineers
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to system incidents outside of regular business hours
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Master's Degree preferred
- Any additional Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer are preferred
