Key Responsibilities

As a Client Accountant with ProfitLine, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing client relationships: Build strong relationships with our clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Working collaboratively with other team members on client accounts: Our team is built on collaboration, and we rely on each other to deliver exceptional results.
• Providing ongoing accounting services: This includes customer invoicing and AR management, expense processing, and AP management.
• Ensuring transactions are accurately categorized: Attention to detail is crucial in this role, and we rely on you to ensure accuracy.
• Managing monthly bank, credit card, and other external account reconciliations: You'll be responsible for ensuring that all accounts are reconciled and up-to-date.
• Completing monthly closes, adding month-end adjustments, and maintaining supporting work papers and schedules: This is a critical part of the accounting process, and we rely on you to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing regular financial statements and other financial reports: You'll be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports that meet our clients' needs.
• Troubleshooting - addressing and resolving issues effectively and speedily: Things don't always go as planned, and we rely on you to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Client Accountant with ProfitLine, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent and relevant full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience: We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience with cloud accounting technology: You should be familiar with cloud accounting software and have experience using it.
• Experience providing client services, preferably customer-facing experience: We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with clients and providing exceptional customer service.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in accounting, finance, or administration): A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of the accounting cycle: You should have a strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to create and manage schedules, such as prepaid expense, fixed asset, depreciation, loan, and inventory schedules: This is a critical part of the accounting process, and we rely on you to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills: You'll be working with clients and team members, so strong communication skills are essential.
