Bookkeeper - Part-Time - 1099 Independent Contractor

Company Description We are a six-location, medical-model hearing care organization supporting clinical and administrative operations across Southern California. Role Description This is a 1099 independent contractor role for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple cost centers, including recording and allocating income and expenses, reconciling accounts, managing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role supports timely monthly financial reporting and compliance using QuickBooks Online. The base location may be Orange County, CA or Los Angeles, with an expectation to meet in person with the organization’s director at least once per month. Qualifications • Bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-cost-center or multi-location environment • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software • Strong understanding of multi-cost-center allocation principles and journal entries • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently in a 1099 contractor capacity • Experience in a healthcare or hearing care setting is a plus; training will be provided • Commitment to confidentiality and data integrity Apply Now Apply Now
