Associate Scientist - Chemical Biology

About the position Responsibilities • Perform cell-based studies using a variety of laboratory techniques, including mammalian cell culture, Western blotting, ELISA, MSD, genetic engineering (lentiviral, CRISPR, RNAi), and flow cytometry. • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of chemical biologists, chemists, biochemists, and proteomics experts to develop new technologies and discover new targets. • Analyze and interpret experimental data, and present findings in team meetings. • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records. • Stay current with relevant scientific literature and apply new techniques and concepts to ongoing projects. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of academic or industry experience. • Understanding of molecular and cell biology techniques. • Experience in independently generating precise and reliable data and analysis. • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. • Highly collaborative with a strong desire to learn. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Nice-to-haves • B.S. (with 2+ years experience) or MS (with 1-2+ years experience) in Biology, Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. • Experience in laboratory techniques relevant to drug discovery.
