About the Team

Global Policy and External Relations (GPER) is a close-knit team of policy and government relations professionals who drive policy proposals and appropriation priorities from design to implementation. Our core capabilities are policy design and adoption to reach a broader group of students, field and subject-matter expertise to help College Board programs innovate and adapt, and advocacy and policy implementation to build and maintain a powerful network of external allies that will help us advance our organizational goals.

About the Opportunity

As GPER’s Associate Director of Division Management and Operations, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Special Projects and play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence and cohesion of the division. You bring a proactive mindset, a bias for action, and a collaborative spirit. Your organizational acumen and attention to detail will help ensure that the division’s strategic priorities are executed seamlessly. You will work closely with GPER’s three Vice Presidents and Senior Vice President to ensure they are fully prepared and supported across meetings, travel, and key initiatives— maximizing their impact and effectiveness. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive, high performing team culture by planning and executing team-wide and cross-divisional meetings, events, and engagement opportunities. Your ability to anticipate needs, streamline logistics, and resolve issues before they arise will be critical to the division’s success.

In this role, you will also lead essential budget and administrative processes, including generating and distributing monthly financial reports, managing contracts, and processing invoices with precision and discretion. Your strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and external partners will be key to your success.
