We're seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to support our Public Safety Program in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. As a core member of our team, you'll collaborate with the Department Chair, Associate Dean, and faculty to ensure the delivery of exceptional educational experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping curriculum development, faculty supervision, and institutional assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Department Chair in supervising full and part-time faculty, ensuring their involvement in course feedback, professional development, and in-service activities
• Collaborate with the Department Chair in curriculum review and updates, as well as scheduling of classes and assignment of faculty
• Assist with training and assessment of new faculty members, seminar coverage, and curricular development, evaluation, and revision
• Make recommendations to the Department Chair on hiring, evaluation, and retention of faculty in discipline courses
• Contribute to the overall success of the College, including positive working relationships with peers and external departments
• Supervise faculty to ensure maintenance of College classroom standards and participate in institutional assessment as assigned
• Remain current with trends, techniques, and advances in distance learning and graphic arts applicable to the program
