Accounting & Finance Senior Associate

This is a remote position. Act as a genuine second-in-command to the Financial Controller, owning key financial processes. Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable , including fortnightly debtor reports and customer follow-ups. Support the month-end close process : bank and inter-company reconciliations, prepayments, depreciation, and balance sheet reviews. Assist with treasury and cash management , including cash flow forecasts and liquidity optimization. Work with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance. Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment. Requirements Must be a Certified Public Accountant ( CPA ) 5–10 years of accounting experience , preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses. Hands-on expertise with Xero and intermediate Excel skills ( VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc. ). Prior experience with Maxio or Chargebee is a major plus – be sure to highlight this! A strong grasp of accounting principles and proven ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations. A methodical and tidy work style with strong attention to detail. A self-starter mindset, with comfort operating independently while knowing when to escalate.
