Accountant for NY LLC

Part-Time Accountant (Remote or NY-Based) We are a New York State–based LLC seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accountant to support our business as we prepare for revenue launch in the next three months. This role will begin in a part-time capacity and grow with the business. Responsibilities (starting in approximately 3 months): Perform monthly bookkeeping (fewer than 100 transactions/month) from a single bank account and multiple sales channels. Ensure timely and accurate filing of business taxes (excluding sales tax, which is handled internally). Generate and interpret financial reports, providing insights and strategic recommendations. Meet regularly to review financials and advise on business decisions. Ideal Candidate: Familiar with early-stage startups or small businesses Experienced in working with multiple sales platforms (e.g., Shopify, Faire, Stripe, etc.) Clear communicator and able to meet consistently Based in New York State or available remotely with experience in NY compliance Apply tot his job
