Job Description: Senior SAP Technical Consultant – SAP ABAP Focus

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Technical Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in SAP technical development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ABAP and a strong understanding of SAP integration technologies. This is a full-time remote position requiring excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• - Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• - Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• - Develop and support custom enhancements and user exits in SAP modules.
• - Work on performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.
• - Support integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• - Provide technical documentation and support for implemented solutions.
• - Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
• - 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• - Strong knowledge of RICEF objects and ABAP Workbench tools.
• - Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and modern ABAP syntax.
• - Good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or others.
• - Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services).
• - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• - SAP ABAP certification.
• - Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 or CDS Views.
• - Knowledge of SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• - Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
