Location: Forest Park, IL 60130 Start Date: August 19, 2025 End Date: June 2, 2026 Type: Full-Time, Onsite Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:55 PM (37.5 hours/week, 30 min unpaid lunch) Position Overview Bilingual Therapies is seeking a 7th Grade General Education Math Teacher to join Forest Park Middle School for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working with 7th grade students in a departmentalized setting. Responsibilities • Deliver engaging math instruction to 7th grade students • Create lesson plans aligned with district and state standards • Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student success Qualifications Applicants must meet Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements for teaching departmentalized subjects in grades 6–8 (23 IAC 1.720). Candidates must hold one of the following: • A Professional Educator License with a Middle School or Junior High Math Endorsement (major teaching assignment) plus 5 semester hours in minor teaching areas, OR • A Professional Educator License with a Middle Grades Endorsement in math (major subject) plus 5 semester hours in minor teaching areas, OR • A Professional Educator License in any area with a short-term approval valid for grades and subject taught, OR • A Professional Educator License with an Elementary Education General Education (self-contained) endorsement if teaching in a self-contained setting (grades K–9 or 1–6), OR • Documentation of meeting predecessor requirements as confirmed by the district Math Endorsement is required for this role.
