As a Customer Account Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to: * Analyze sales tax exemption certificates for accuracy and apply approved certificates in our state-of-the-art customized software. * Collaborate with a cross-functional team to provide exceptional service and support to our customers. * Develop your analytical and communication skills, working with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and internal departments. * Contribute to the success of our business, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Account Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Analyzing sales tax exemption certificates for accuracy and ensuring compliance with tax guidelines. Contacting customers to obtain missing or incomplete documentation, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Applying approved sales tax exemption certificates in our state-of-the-art customized software, ensuring seamless processing and accurate calculations. Calculating and processing sales tax credits based on exemption documentation, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Collaborating with a cross-functional team to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Minimum Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. * Customer service experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of sales tax exemption processes and procedures. * Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus, with excellent communication and analytical skills. * Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and customized software applications.
