The Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) Business Architect leads and supports software design and development for CDPH’s enterprise platform services, acting as a liaison between business and technical teams for mission-critical applications. Responsibilities Leads, supports, and administers software design and development for CDPH’s enterprise platform services in a Dev Ops environment Serves as a technical business analyst and scrum leader writing technical user stories, working with Product Owners to understand business requirements, and acts as a liaison between business and the technical team for mission critical applications and systems Supports the development and maintenance of low code/no code platform systems and/or software applications Leads and/or directs projects involving application and database development, technical system configuration, performance tuning, and problem resolution Skills Experience in software design and development in a Dev Ops environment Ability to write technical user stories Experience working with Product Owners to understand business requirements Ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams for mission-critical applications and systems Experience in supporting the development and maintenance of low code/no code platform systems and/or software applications Experience leading and/or directing projects involving application and database development Experience in technical system configuration, performance tuning, and problem resolution Company Overview The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is dedicated to optimizing the health and well-being of the people in California.
