Overview: Our client, a mutual benefit corporation and health plan provider, seeks an accomplished Healthcare Business Analyst. • ** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship *** • ********************************************************************************************************************* • ** Location: El Dorado Hills, CA (Remote Acceptable) • ** Duration: 6 months contract w/ possibility of extension Notes: • 100% Remote role. • Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Description: • Business Analyst for 1 or multiple HQA projects depending on the need. To start with assignment will be with the Advanced Imaging for Site of Care project. • The main function of the Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. • Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers. • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. • Supports one or more highly complex business processes. • Works on multiple projects as a project team member. • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. • Reports to the PMO PM. Works closely with the Business Owner, Driver, SMEs. Partners with IT teams and vendors. • Elicit and document requirements. • Document process (to-be and future-state). • Test planning and support. • Gather necessary detail for the business plan, business case/investment summary, and measurement plan. • Additional analytical support as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. • 8-10 years business analysis experience required. • Experience in healthcare is required. • Requirements & process gathering & documenting. • Jira expertise. • Supporting the business plan, business case, financials, measurement plan. • Test planning and support.
