We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at Bethany Village, a 100-acre community operated by Graceworks Lutheran Services. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the campus grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors. Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to join our team at Bethany Village. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for undertaking daily tasks to maintain and improve the campus grounds through sound grounds keeping techniques. You will serve the needs of our residents in all grounds-related work, ensuring that our 100-acre property remains beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities: Maintain all plantings on the campus, including trimming, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, spraying, weeding, watering, and any other method needed to assure their health and appearance is at a high standard. Mow and neatly trim the lawns of the entire campus on a weekly basis. Perform all snow removal and ice control of roadways, driveways, and sidewalks. Remove cottage trash on a weekly basis. Perform other grounds-related tasks as needed. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: Valid Driver's License required. Must be at least 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds. Post-offer and annual audiometric testing required with at least an average of 40 db at the frequency range of 1K to 3K in at least one ear. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field. Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
