If you are a doer who thrives in a dynamic, mission-focused environment, join us!What We're Looking ForPartner with the team to conceive, prototype, and ship gameplay and learning interactions that elevate the player's experience.Evaluate systems and mechanics with a critical eye to uncover opportunities to improve clarity, engagement, and outcomes.Tackle tough design problems through creative exploration, rapid iteration, and a learner-first mindset.Join playtests and review sessions, applying qualitative feedback and product data to refine designs.Communicate openly with engineers, artists, and product partners to stay aligned on goals and vision.Collaborate with Design Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to bring storyboards to life in Unreal Engine 5 using in-house tools.Use Sequencer to build fully functional greyboxes, integrating flow and structure for later asset implementation (mo-cap, environments, VFX, SFX).Partner closely with designers, programmers, and artists to test, refine, and improve tools, workflows, and content pipelines.Work with in-house and AI-powered localisation tools to streamline and adapt interactive experiences across platforms.Polish, debug, and optimise levels for PC, VR, and web-based experiences.Contribute to the UX, pacing, and narrative flow of the overall experience, ensuring design and storytelling remain tightly aligned.Define, estimate, and track your own tasks using our online project management tools.Collaborate across departments — a solid understanding of other disciplines (art, animation, programming, sound, etc.) ensures smooth integration and communication.Who are you?Strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5, particularly in crafting, tuning, and iterating on interactive experiences.Proven experience in game design and/or level design, with an understanding of player experience, flow, and engagement.A solid grasp of the core principles of interactive design, including pacing, readability, and feedback loops.Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills — you’ll work with multiple teams daily.Familiarity with standard production and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite).Organized, reliable, and able to estimate and deliver tasks independently.At Pixaera, we’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.
