Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing goals, focusing on performance marketing and audience targeting. • Plan and execute media campaigns across traditional and digital platforms such as traditional radio, streaming audio (podcast), satellite and other media channels, ensuring optimal placement and timing. • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, audience behaviors, and competitive insights that inform media planning decisions. • Negotiate purchasing terms with media vendors to secure the best rates while maintaining quality standards. • Manage budgets meticulously, allocating resources efficiently across multiple campaigns to maximize impact without overspending. • Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools; analyze data to optimize ongoing campaigns and improve future media plans. • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate media buying efforts with overall marketing strategies, including print advertising when applicable. • Maintain detailed records of media placements, negotiations, and campaign results for reporting and continuous improvement. Requirements • Proven experience in audio media buying, with a strong understanding of advertising sales processes. • Proficiency in Nielsen ratings, and other major audio advertising platforms. • Solid knowledge of market research techniques and analytics tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness. • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable purchasing terms from vendors. • Strong background in media planning, budgeting, and media marketing strategies. • Familiarity with podcast advertising methods is a plus for integrated campaign approaches. • Ability to analyze data critically and translate insights into actionable strategies for improved campaign performance. • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
