About the Role The Senior Product Designer will play a critical role in determining the design direction of Apple's Media Products. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop innovative products and services that meet Apple's high standards for quality and user experience • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Product Marketing, and Senior Management to develop and implement design solutions • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Apple's design style and customer interaction principles • Create prototypes and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and ideas • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and ensure that products meet customer needs • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and tools, and apply this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes Essential Qualifications • 4+ years of work experience in product design and UI/UX, with a focus on designing for multiple platforms, including TV, web, and iOS • Experience with AR, VR, mixed reality, motion, and immersive design • Strong prototyping and design skills, with the ability to take designs from concept to completion • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and direct the work of others • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and Figma Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on iterative design and continuous improvement • Knowledge of Apple's design principles and human interface guidelines • Experience with design systems and the ability to create and maintain design languages • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply these principles to design solutions • Experience with front-end development and the ability to code in languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: • Strong design skills, with the ability to create elegant, simple, and intuitive designs • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and direct the work of others • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on iterative design and continuous improvement • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply these principles to design solutions • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and Figma Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Apple, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
