As a Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance – Direct Imports, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to ensuring the integrity and compliance of all imports into the United States. **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance – Direct Imports to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Import Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and cooperating government organizations for all imports into the United States. You will also be responsible for identifying and assembling all required documentation to ensure that all imports are compliant with U.S. regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with our senior directors to identify areas of non-compliance and suggest enhancements to our import compliance processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and cooperating government organizations for all imports into the United States * Identify and assemble all required documentation to ensure that all imports are compliant with U.S. regulations * Collaborate with senior directors to identify areas of non-compliance and suggest enhancements to our import compliance processes * Develop, implement, and maintain significant regulations to ensure legal application to affected goods and purchase orders * Research proposed regulatory changes and existing guidelines to act as a subject matter expert to the business * Provide guidance to vendors or international procurement to assist with supporting accurate costing decisions * Work closely with senior directors to identify compliance and morals gaps and suggest and create enhancements **Essential Qualifications** * 3 years of experience in Information Examiner and Information section with a history of high completion on projects * 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel * Any experience in project management would be preferred but not required * 3 years of import experience * Any experience in tariff code would be an asset **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with English language and excellent communication skills * Ability to work well under pressure, with a proactive and results-driven attitude * Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities * Strong mathematical skills * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures * High energy level with a strong desire to drive results and take ownership **Benefits and Advantages** As a Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance – Direct Imports at blithequark, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $30/hour, as well as a range of benefits and advantages, including: * Aggressive compensation package * Motivator grants for outstanding performance * 401(k) match * Stock buy plan * Paid maternity and parental leave * PTO * Various health plans * And many more! **Equal Opportunity Employer** blithequark is an Equal Opportunity Employer – By Decision.
