As a Pathology Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing and editing medical reports with high accuracy and attention to detail. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality documentation that meets their needs. Key Responsibilities Transcribe and edit medical reports, particularly in pathology, with high accuracy and attention to detail Meet productivity standards, including producing at least 5000 transcription/editing lines per billing cycle Maintain quality scores of 99% or higher Work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and productivity standards Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality documentation to our clients Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in medical transcription Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least 3 years of experience in medical transcription, with a focus on pathology Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Excellent transcription and editing skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Certification in medical transcription, such as CMT or RMT Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and transcription software Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong technical skills, including proficiency in transcription software and EMRs Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Precision Transcription, LLC, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
