Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address their concerns, answer questions, and provide personalized support Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and team members alike Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, services, and promotions to provide accurate and informative support to customers Adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and processes, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow Essential Qualifications 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment Fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, navigation, and internet research Ability to multi-task, maintain a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes Flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed by the business unit Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools Knowledge of the pet industry or experience working with pets Certifications or training in customer service, communication, or a related field Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Empathy, patience, and understanding in dealing with customers and team members Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn and grow Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
