As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in supporting our planning, scheduling, and job set-up processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, responding to client support requests, and providing administrative assistance to our team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in spreadsheets and internal databases to track important customer information and orders * Transfer data from client databases to internal databases, ensuring seamless data integration * Update customer information in databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency * Organize existing data in spreadsheets, client databases, and internal databases, making it easily accessible and usable * Verify outdated data and make necessary changes to records, ensuring data integrity * Operate common office equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers, with ease and efficiency * Search for and investigate information contained in files, providing valuable insights to our team * Perform regular database backups to secure data and prevent loss * Input text-based and numerical information from source documents, ensuring accuracy and speed * Provide occasional administrative support to our team, including tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping * Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically, maintaining a clutter-free and organized workspace * Review data for deficiencies or errors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions * Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability * Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis, showcasing your ability to work collaboratively and effectively **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or GED required * Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems * Ability to efficiently use a Windows-based computer, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software * Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner, with a strong attention to detail * Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and clients * Ability to work alone and with a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability * Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field * Experience working with databases, including data management and analysis * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation * Experience working with clients, including responding to support requests and providing exceptional customer service **Work Environment and Culture:** At blithequark, we value a dynamic and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and growth.
