DevOps Engineer (Cloudflare Edge, TypeScript) Location: Remote (Europe time zones preferred) Experience: Senior-level Type: Full-time About our Technologies we are building a next-generation platform. Fast, modular, and designed for multi-brand scalability, on Cloudflare Edge with TypeScript, Workers, Durable Objects, D1, KV, and R2. Evolving beyond a legacy Laravel PHP / AWS monolith toward real-time, low-latency scalability. The Role You’ll be responsible for our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and overall system reliability. As DevOps, you’ll help design and operate the Cloudflare-based infrastructure that powers our services, assist product and dev teams with great tooling, and maintain our CI/CD processes within a high-traffic iGaming environment. What You’ll Do Lead the infrastructure management: Design, provision, and optimize Cloudflare for our iGaming platform, including working with Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, D1, KV, R2, and Zero Trust. CI/CD & release management: Build and manage fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines and release management on our GitLab instance. Observability & reliability: Implement tracing/metrics/logging, alerting systems, escalation processes, incident response, and post-mortems. Security & compliance: Secrets management, key rotation, runtime hardening, least-privilege access, and vulnerability management aligned with gaming and payment system compliance standards. Infrastructure as Code: Manage Cloudflare + supporting services via process automation, environment modeling, and drift detection. Cost & capacity: Traffic engineering, optimization, autoscaling strategies, performance profiling. What You’ll Bring ➡️ 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform roles with production ownership. ➡️ Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, GitLib Pipelines (or similar systems), and process automation. ➡️ Strong TypeScript/Node.js fundamentals. ➡️ Proven track record implementing observability and incident response processes. ➡️ Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, and automated testing in pipelines. ➡️ Excellent collaboration with backend, frontend, and product teams; bias for pragmatic automation. Nice to Have ⭐ Experience migrating from monolith to distributed microservices. ⭐ Familiarity with AWS (legacy workloads), Go, or Laravel/PHP for migration support.
