Salary: Database Administrator Location:Virtual Other Consideration:Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizenship (Required) SUMMARY: A Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performance database systems that support business operations. Ensure data integrity, availability, and scalability while managing backups, recovery, user access, and system optimization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for optimization • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and external standards • Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data • Manage user access, roles, and permissions • Collaborate with developers and IT teams to support application integration • Document database configurations, procedures, and policies.
