Job Description As an engineer in the Engineering Productivity team at DataStax you will design, build, manage and leverage the state-of-the-art build and delivery toolkit in DataStax. We are looking for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about software delivery with tooling and infrastructure knowledge. The role would also involve interacting with multiple cross-functional engineering teams to strategize and coordinate build and delivery processes. What you will do: • Design and build new resilient CI/CD systems to support builds for multiple products and services • Participate in peer code reviews and elevate the adherence of best practices • Help implement compliance guardrails for release promotion criteria • Design delivery / deployment systems that include auditability and dependency awareness. • Work closely with various product development teams to implement various deployment / delivery strategies - Blue/Green, Canary, Multi-tenant, etc. • Engage and embed with various product team to enable them to accelerate delivery and cloud infrastructure readiness. Skills : • Have a strong DevOps mindset to build and delivery (tooling, monitoring, on-call) • Strong experience building and managing delivery tooling for across public/private clouds using Kubernetes and Helm • Strong engineering experience with Python, Shell, GoLang and Java • Build processes using Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Docker, ArgoCD, FluxCD • Proficient in Git and repository management • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Automation advocate - passionable about removing operational load in software delivery • Data driven capacity planning • Strong practitioner of security best practices in build and delivery tooling • Terraform experience is a major plus $143,358-$215,036 USD Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
