Audiologist Needed in South Carolina for Teletherapy Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Audiologist to join our educational team in the state of South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by addressing hearing and communication needs that support their academic success! Key Responsibilities: • Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized strategies for students with hearing impairments. • Recommend and assist with the selection, fitting, and use of hearing aids and other auditory devices. • Provide training and support to school staff on effective communication strategies for students with hearing loss. • Monitor and maintain auditory equipment to ensure proper functioning. • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by offering expert advice on hearing-related accommodations and goals. Qualifications: • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited institution. • Current Audiology license in the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one). • Previous experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Knowledge of assistive listening devices and auditory processing strategies.
