The ASIC Engineer will work alongside a team to design, debug, validate, and optimize products throughout the design lifecycle, engaging in logic design and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities Participate in logic design, verification and post-silicon validation as part of Amazon custom silicon solutions Work with physical design teams to achieve performance and area requirements Develop a deep understanding of the end customer requirements, including software applications, use models, system architecture and the SoC architecture/micro-architecture of our solutions Develop and execute design automation mechanisms and flows Skills Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields Experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, area analysis and trade-offs Experience programming with at least one software programming language, or experience in embedded development in C/C++ Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools Knowledge of analog and digital skills Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities Benefits Equity Sign-on payments Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Company Overview Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
