AI and MEP Software Developer

They are seeking a talented Software Developer to join their Innovation team, responsible for developing proprietary software solutions that enhance design and production efficiency. Responsibilities Develop custom solutions to enhance design and work process efficiency Support the development of in-house tools, including Thrux and custom Autodesk tools Evaluate third-party AI tools Develop in-house AI models using techniques such as computer vision, speech recognition, natural language processing, and machine learning Ensure alignment between BIM content and custom software solutions Collaborate with cross-functional MEP engineering and Corporate Services teams to support workflow efficiency Provide technical support to end users Coordinate training on new products and features with the KM team Develop MEP cross-trade collaboration logic Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field 1-4 years of experience Basic knowledge of MEP systems with the goal of becoming proficient within 6 months Understanding of relational data Familiarity with trade-specific, energy, and building codes General understanding of the building design lifecycle Working knowledge of Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and related platforms Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platforms and related programming tools Experience with computational design applications Technical skills in C#, JavaScript, Python, CSS, WPF, XAML, Azure web services (Cosmos/Functions/AppServices), ASP.NET, Revit/AC API Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including 401k employer match and stock options Paid time off (PTO), volunteer program and employee resource groups Training and professional development courses through JB&B University Company Overview Jaros, Baum & Bolles is an engineering company that provides HVAC, fire protection, and telecom solutions.
